CIT 40-hour Curriculum Train-the-Trainer
CIT International provides a train-the-trainer course on a national CIT 40-hour curriculum. Learn from master instructors on how to conduct the week-long training as well as receive the complete curriculum including course materials, presentations, instructor's guide and everything needed to design and conduct the course in your community for your law enforcement officers.
The curriculum train-the-trainer course is a 4-day in-person course of instruction. The course is appropriate for all CIT coordinators who may be responsible or co-responsible for conducting a 40-hour week long CIT training for law enforcement. Class size will be limited to no more than 20 students. A block of hotel rooms have been negotiated at the training hotel at a reduced price.
Attendees will be required to demonstrate efficiency at being able to deliver portions of the material to successfully complete this course of instruction. Upon successful completion of the course, the attendee will receive a certificate of completion for the train-the-trainer course and a USB drive containing all of the materials required to conduct a CIT 40-hour training. In addition, those receiving the certification of completion, will have access to the materials, and any updates, for as long as they remain certified as a CIT Coordinator.
