CIT International provides a train-the-trainer course on how to deliver a national CIT 40-hour curriculum known as Crisis Reponse and Intervention Training (CRIT). The creation of this train the trainer course was led by CIT International and included the International Associations of Chiefs of Police (IACP), Policy Research Associates (PRA), National Policing Institute (NPI) and the ARC. The work on developing the curriculum and train the trainer was funded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance.
